Their power lies in its simplicity. Contrary to a popular belief, I would argue that there are no rules when it comes to creating a mood-board. Regardless of its purpose, the crafter is pulling the strings, letting the eye and the heart lead the way. It could be quite magical seeing the end result, when you actually don’t even know why you were drawn to certain colours and imagery, but somehow it all fits together as if they were meant to be.
